If You Cant Login! (updated for AOL users)
Please make sure that you are using the correct URL. This should be www.uo-auction2.com the 2 IS required, if you dont have it then this can cause problems with the temporary cookie that carries your login.
If you are using AOL and cant login also, after some testing with a friend who uses it, the only solution we found was to make sure that you are not using any aol-type explorers, since these mess up the cookie...
What that means.. try to use a browser that isnt infected by aol... If your using internet explorer then if you use the origional link that should be in the start menu then you should be ok...

Alright, now I registered myself (I'm the one who sent that message as unregistered). So I've had this problem for 2 days now, and still cant login.. Those helps you gave, didn't help any, the problem is that when I try to login, it just bounces me back to the page I tried to login from, and nothing happens, and when I try to bid on an auction, it says "You must be logged in" after I've confirmed my password and username. Username is 'dangen'. Tell me if you can do something about it please.

are you using anything thats not 'normal'?
by that i mean things like a proxy or an isp that changes IP address with every request?
The login system is designed to logout people with any changes... I know that this at least applies to the AOL 'browser'. I can see that you dont use AOL however, so i dont know what to suggest...

Hehe, now this is pretty strange, I successfully bid on an item, but still can't login... after I had bid on the item, I chose "Your control panel" and it bounced back to login page again! I'll try to figure it out somehow thanks anyway.

I am having that problem and am on AOL , although it only started happening about 3 to 4 days ago, i was actually logged in, i restarted my computer and havnt' been able to logg in since. I get the 'bouncing' where i go to the log in page, and then type my details, and then it cycles as if thinking about logging me in then almost like it refreshes the page and my details get wiped in the boxes, back to a blank log in page, no error message or anything. Is this a permanent thing *sobs at the thought of not bieng able to use auctions*

have you read the first post in this thread?
have you tried that? because everyone who had problems and were on aol who did what it said, found that it worked.

Yes I have read it and I have tried it and didn't help any. I asked Marion to help me too, but she couldn't help and told me to post my problem here, well no help this way either I guess..

I managed to get in using Intenet Explorer and just avoiding using AOL's own browser. *kicks aol*
*kicks aol more and leaves it here for others to have a go*

Sorry , bad wording, meant i tried all using aol browser, is there any setting or anything that would allow me to use Auctions through aol again? i've even treid reinstalling AOL to see if that helps but nothing.
*kicks AOL on way past*

Found that this worked
After trying everything listed above without any success...I finally found my own solution. Maybe this will help someone else.
I use Windows XP.
On Internet Explorer, go to the Tools bar, pick Internet Options.
Go to the Programs tab. Near the bottom is a button with Reset Web Settings...on it. I used this option, now everything seems to work.
Good luck.
